The Coney Island Waltz

This was a personal favorite of mine-the set absolutely blew me away! Enjoy!

The Coney Island Waltz

GANGLE
Coney Isle
Glistening and Glimmering
Rising bright
Drenched with light

GANGLE/SQUELCH
See it smile
Beckoning and Shimmering
All agleam
Like a dream
Every fantasy set free
Sun up rising by the sea

GANGLE/SQUELCH/FLECK
Wonders and astonishment's
For you delectation
Phantoms and automatons
For your fascination
Marvels undreamt
Since the dawn of creation

ALL
Coney Isle
Miracle on miracle
Sleek and sound
Burning 'round
Mile by mile
Loud and lewd and lyrical
Thrill on thrill
Never still

Welcome one and Welcome all
Welcome to the monster's ball
Welcome to the (X7)
Ahhhh!

(Instrumental)

Coney Isle
Miracle on miracle
Sleek and sound
Burning 'round
Mile by mile
Loud and lewd and lyrical
Thrill on thrill
Never still

Welcome one and Welcome all
Welcome to the monster's ball
 Welcome one and Welcome all
 Welcome to the (X7)

  1. Hey, I don't know if you know about this website "Love Should Die". It's this website protesting that The Phantom of the Opera should not have a sequel! They say that Love Never Dies is a "train wreck of a show"! So join the fight against them at www.longliveloveneverdies.blogspot.com. Follow us to know you support us!
Ps: thanks a lot for the lyrics! You were the only one I could find who has all of them!

    1. You're welcome! I love the site by the way. It always angers me when people who have never actually seen the show bash it because it's a sequel! I personally think this is one of ALW's best scores :)

  2. I loved this song! It really developed the setting, and what Conney Isle was like in the early 1900's. The music though, WOW! its was majestic, skin crawling, like a child's fantasy. The set was unbelievable, image how hard it was the first couple of rehearsals to get a carousel on stage! Chills went up my back the last verse, just an amazing piece by a amazing composer! i love the trio, they are probably my 2nd favorite character.

  3. It's "Sodom rising by the sea" in the 2nd stanza
